What Kind of lessons do we have?

There are hundreds of available lessons for beginner to advanced level students. These lessons have been developed from over 30 plus years .

Online lesson is composed of a series of steps, which is often completed within a month's period time at your own pace and time. You can choose just lessons or lessons and video conference. See payement for choices.

I have also created lessons with family participation in mind and represents less intense instruction, more general. You can find these lessons in book form or are free to copy. You can download these lessons quickly and print them out on the family printer. No matter which lesson you choose they are of great value and help improve you artistic skills.

How to find the right lesson and start

There are two ways to find the correct lesson and start. Choose from the following list.

1. Online lessons are modified lessons according to your specific skill level. Register and pick the kind of lesson you want. See the lesson list for specific choices or contact me for help. Then pay for the lesson set you want. For example, 4 lessons and 4 video conferences takes approximately 4 weeks to complete. This is a good choice for beginners and intermediate levels. Each month you can renew your lessons as you need them. Send images of your work or take a free lesson test. An instructor will contact you once you register.

2. General lessons can be ordered by selecting a lesson from the lesson list ,my blog, books and free page. If you are ordering a lesson fill out the registration form and submit your order. If you are unsure which kind of lesson is right for you take the lesson test and email it to me and I will respond within 24 hours.

However, the best lesson is the one that is relevant to your specific needs, level and reinforses artistic fundamentals.

Levels

1. Fundamentals level 1 Learn the basics, Skill development. gesture, control your marks or brush, create simple line drawings or paintings, learn to shade, measure and plot. Single subjects, birds, dogs, cats, plants etc. You choose subjects too.

2. Intermediate level 2 Go beyond the basics. Lean professional methods in drawing or painting. Learn to create three dimensional  subjects from life and photographs. Create multiple realistic images in one composition. Choose from portraiture, figures, wildlife, landscapes and still-life.  Focus on composition, plotting, measuring, color and values, Atelier methods.

3. Advanced Level 3 Refine drawing and painting skills. Create a portfolio with twelve or more works of art. Lessons are personally developed, in composition, form, subject character and style development.
