Program Duration

The studio is open year round and closes for two holidays and Sundays. Students attend class once a week for two hours and may choose to attend as many classes they want per week at the flat rate. 

Basic Classes

Classes are a series of projects intended to expand the student's concepts, skills and techniques in the fine arts. Instruction begins by selecting the medium or medthod of your choice, (see classes.) If the student is not sure what class to take the first class will be a choice between a basic clay project, basic drawing or basic painting. Following the completion of the first project, the student is encouraged to explore other mediums of choice.

Independent Studies

 Independent studies students can begin in any medium with no preliminary requirements. In this program the student and the instructor work closely together on projects to establish a path of continuously changing curriculum to specifically address the student's growth, gifts and talents. This program is ideal for students who are interested in special instruction to develope their particular interests.

Mentors / Staff

The mentors in the studio are accomplished artists in their own right. They are skilled professionals eager to inspire, encourage and give positive direction to students.

School Schedules

During the Fall, Winter and Spring instruction is during the day, after school and Saturday. During the Summer instruction takes place during the morning and afternoon Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. See the class page.

Artistic Space

The studio is artistic zone with tools are made available for creative individuals making well crafted projects. The space is divided into four areas; the Front Gallery, Drawing and Painting Room and the Printmaking and sculpture Room. The Front Gallery is made available to all students who want to show a body of work to the general public. The Drawing and Painting Room is a large inspirational space that contains art supplies, tables, chairs, benches and painting areas were students work together on a variety of art projects. Students work in any medium of their choice without waiting for a schedule or class change. The Printmaking and Sculpture Room contains tools necessary to cut and make a wide assortment of prints, wood projects, clay projects, metal and stone work.
